While going through old records, we discovered that 40 past magazine issues were lost when an old hard drive failed. Some of those issues were once available through ISSUU, but that archive access is gone now too. We still have 19 issues on hand, but a large part of our publication history is missing.
So we are putting out a call to our old friends, readers, contributors, models, bands, artists, photographers, and collectors:
Do you have an old copy of Darkfaery Subculture Magazine?
Paper copies, PDFs, downloads, screenshots, scans, backup files, old press folders, contributor copies, or even photos of pages may help us rebuild the archive.
You do not have to give up a paper copy unless you want to. We would be grateful for scans, clear photos, PDFs, or even information about which issue you have.
We are especially looking for missing issues from the original Darkfaery Subculture Magazine run between 2009 and 2014.
This is not just about files. It is about preserving the underground, the bands, the models, the artists, the flyers, the interviews, the ads, the weird little moments, and the people who helped build this strange beautiful thing with us.
If you have anything, please contact us through the website or message Darkfaery Subculture Magazine directly.
Please share this with anyone who may have been part of the old scene, contributed to the magazine, modeled for us, played shows with us, advertised with us, or saved old gothic/industrial/alternative media from that era.
Where shadows dance and stories unfold, and the strange are invited back to the table.
