Santana Supernatural Rock Music CD Review By Clyde Lee Dennis Supernatural is the latest release from Rock Superstar Santana, and is another great one by this talented musician. Supernatural grabs your attention right from the very first note with Yaleo and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song The Calling, which is another great track by the way. Rock music fans will recognize some of the well known contributors on the project including Dave Matthews and Eric Clapton plus a few other notables as well. I’m of the opinion that Supernatural is certainly Santana’s best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it’s a collection that even the casual Rock fan can appreciate and enjoy. While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 – Love Of My Life, track 6 – Do You Like The Way, and track 10 – Wishing It Was My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore …as in “Stuck On REpeat” is has to be track 5 – Smooth. Nine Inch Nails With Teeth Rock Music CD Review By Clyde Lee Dennis Richly talented Nine Inch Nails have released their latest CD titled With Teeth and Wow! It’s really a good one. It’s a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I’m more than happy to announce that’s exactly what I must say about this one. There simply isn’t a bad one in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song standing tall on it’s own. One of the nicer things about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Rock isn’t your favorite style you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the musicians. Overall With Teeth is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Rock collection. Truly an outstanding Rock CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb. While the entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 1 – All The Love In The World, track 6 – Every Day Is Exactly The Same, and track 13 – Right Where It Belongs My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore …as in “Stuck On REpeat” is track 12 – Beside You In Time. Evanescence Fallen Rock Music CD Review Fallen is the latest Rock CD put out by the highly group Evanescence and they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Evanescence fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Fallen. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish. These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs. Fallen is a nicely varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard. If you’re even mildly into Rock music you’ll enjoy this album. Overall Fallen is an outstanding release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track. Overall Fallen is outstanding from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Rock fan. Really sensational from beginning to end. While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 2 – Bring Me To Life, track 4 – My Immortal, and track 8 – Taking Over Me. My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore …as in “Stuck On REpeat” is track 10 – My Last Breath. This is a great track! Fallen Release Notes: Evanescence originally released Fallen on Mar 04, 2003 on the Wind-Up Records label. CD Track List Follows: 1. Going Under 2. Bring Me To Life 3. Everybody’s Fool 4. Red Hot Chili Peppers “Stadium Arcadium” Rock Music CD Review By Clyde Lee Dennis Stadium Arcadium is the long awaited latest release from release from Red Hot Chili Peppers. Like it’s predecessor, Blood Sugar Sex Magic, Stadium Arcadium is destined to be a smash hit. RHCP fans will absolutely delight in this double disc, 28 song release. Probably will be the very best double album of the year. Disc 1 starts with Dani California, the first single from the collection and frankly just rolls right through more than 100 hours of Red Hot Chili Peppers Utopia. From the slowed down tempo of track 2, Snow (Hey Oh) to the bangin C’mon Girl, track 12 this CD is chock full of very well written, passionately played, and expertly produced tracks. By the way the 2 Discs, though very similar in styles are titled Mars and Jupiter. Overall the collection that is Stadium Arcadium is a delight to listen to. I give it two thumbs up. It’s a CD anyone who enjoys music will like a lot. While this entire CD collection is outstanding the truly standout tunes are Charlie track 3, Disc 1, Stadium Arcadium track 4, Disc 1, and Hard to Concentrate track 3, Disc 2.
