Some of these magazines no longer exist or just seem to be gone, but I have left them up for my own purposes. If you would like your links added simply shoot us an e-mail and if your site is legit I will add the link. Ad farms, link farms, niche sites will not be added as these do more harm for the community than good. I am however always open to negotiation.

Darkfaery Subculture Magazine has been a hub since 1992 for those who seek something outside of the mainstream to exercise their talents. We don’t believe that someone has to have a degree or be trained like a monkey to perform a task. We like merits. If you think you can do it, we’d like to see you try your hand at it. We offer plenty of opportunities for open minds in a competitive but non-corporate environment. The DARKFAERY SUBCULTURE MAGAZINE staff work hard at creating magazines that cater to the most devoted fan bases from around the world.

Our compensation and benefits package for full-time volunteers include: Entertainment promos and Gift Packs Concert tickets and passes to events, free or at a discount Booth space, free or at a discount Free Web space and e-mail @ dfsm.org, darkfaery-girls.com, or darkfaery-subculture.com Free promotion for your personal projects including space in the magazine. We treat our staff like people. We consider ourselves to be a rather large dysfunctional family. We openly encourage our volunteers to contribute their input into how we can make our magazine and websites the best that it can be.

If you want to get into magazine publishing, journalism, graphic design, advertising sales, marketing, circulation, web design and production and/or customer service, but want to work in an open environment without sacrificing your individual identity, then DARKFAERY SUBCULTURE MAGAZINE is where you want to be.

You must be able to attend events dressed in costume, be comfortable with yourself and with meeting people, and most of all you must represent DARKFAERY SUBCULTURE MAGAZINE. You will not be allowed to get in free as one of our staff and then do whatever you want or shamelessly use us. You will have to help us. Be sure before you apply, you will become a part of our family and we will expect you to show. For our younger fans: We completely appreciate you wanting to work at DARKFAERY SUBCULTURE MAGAZINE even though you may not have graduated high school.

We really are looking for candidates at least 18 years of age, but we understand that you can’t get experience unless someone is willing to give you a chance. Under 18 we will allow you to help with ONLINE/WEB PRODUCTION, ADVERTISING/MARKETING, ART/PRODUCTION, and EDITORIAL. These things consist of: Light copy editing, news gathering and posting Collecting new release information Assisting with a variety of editorial tasks daily Basic HTML knowledge Page layout & advertising/promotional design Online design Create new pages/sections Create online banners & images Unfortunately, we cannot offer modeling positions to anyone under 18 but if you are a parent or guardian of an alternative/gothic/rock child and wish to start your kid as a model we will consider it as long as you can be there with them at all times. Minors may only attend all age’s events and we will need the permission of a parent or guardian. We ARE NOT a BABYSITTING service. We offer unpaid internships to students who are looking to gain college credit or to fulfill course requirements through experience. We can give you as much time as you need from 5 to 40 hours a week. It’s all up to you.

Rock’n'Roll Garage Sale and Show Route 66 Bowl 3810 NW 39, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 Start Date: Saturday, May 1, 2010, 12:00pm- 8:00pm Location: Route 66 Bowl Free & All Ages! Bring canned food to donate to Food Bank of Oklahoma This highly anticipated event is free to attendees, open to all ages and features the talent of eight Oklahoma-based bands. This unique event serves the local community while highlighting the creativity and musicianship of our local talent, effectively serving as two events in one! Admission is free to this all ages event, and booth space is available. Items for sale at past events have included records, clothing, artwork, jewelry, musical instruments, and other eclectic odds and ends. The diverse lineup of all Oklahoma-based bands who will be entertaining the crowd includes: The Pretty Black Chains Euclid Crash Brian Dunning & the Rock’n’Roll Trio The Mean Spirits Depth and Current Motown Blood Unmarked Cars Willie V.
