Honestly, Hallows Edge was my first LARP. Ben(the guy above me) invited me because he thought I would like it. Obviously he was right. I, personally, have always liked sci-fi especially Star Wars and Star Trek, but joining Hallows Edge introduced me to a whole new world (movie reference not intentional) and I've loved it from the start. I could totally imagine seeing the Large Hadron Collider at CERN powered by steam and springs.

Steampunk in LARP is a great idea, especially for all you steampunk lovers. Not only do you get to talk about steampunk and create steampunk things, but you can act out how a person in a steampunk world would act. It brings alot of fun to the game. I am a strong fan of Hallows Edge, and highly recomend it to others.

Steampunk Larp is both a necessary and an important in the evolution of games and that is why we are proud to present Hallow's Edge, a game of steampunk zombie combat.

www.hallowsedge.com

Set 250 years in the future after a nano-zombie apocalypse destroyed much of the surface, survivors of Rica are coming up from the underground to take their land back. Armed only with their wit and a few failing miracles of the singularity, do they have what it takes to survive?

Based on the concepts of LARP 2.0, Hallow's Edge offers streamlined rules that are fast, easy, fun and FREE.

Need more info? This self-interview says alot:

Thanks for your time. No spambot here, happy to engage in conversation.

Veronica, thank you so much for your comment. we rarely get comments that aren't spam, trackbacks, or bots. I can honestly say that is my motivation in loving fictional vampires. The idea of a perfect love that grows stronger over centuries appeals to many people. It doesn't hurt to never have to do dishes or work a dead end job again either. :)

This post is absolutely brilliant. This is the PRECISE reason why girls are so madly in love with vampires in popular culture right now. And to think I never saw it so simply. The contradiction to every girl's Prince Charming, but someone who will still love her forever and give her happiness for eternity. And I suppose that's what I want to...

Awww....As always you are too sweet. I was happy to help out on the promotions part on the DFG myspace and getting the DFGs rounded up. James I know was happy to have been a help at the event itself. He's a good guy like that. Your just lucky I could pry myself away from him to let him help. lol.
