Ben(the guy above me) invited me because he thought I would like it. Obviously he was right. I, personally, have always liked sci-fi especially Star Wars and Star Trek, but joining Hallows Edge introduced me to a whole new world (movie reference not intentional) and I've loved it from the start. I could totally imagine seeing the Large Hadron Collider at CERN powered by steam and springs. Honestly, Hallows Edge was my first LARP. Not only do you get to talk about steampunk and create steampunk things, but you can act out how a person in a steampunk world would act. It brings alot of fun to the game.
