MySpace profiles will look good only if they are customized. If they are designed well with a lot of care then the users are sure to get a lot of mileage as well. This can be done with the help of MySpace backgrounds. They can be used on an unlimited basis, and a variety can be chosen for each part of your profile. Many MySpace backgrounds are designed in such a way that there will be no need to get bored at all. They say stories in their own way, as they are so creative. For example, you have the blog category on your profile. Imagine you have chosen to write bedtime stories, and you need to use symbols to enhance that. Run your own MySpace Resource web site

If you want to run your own MySpace Resource web site there are a ton of free scripts out there that can make your quest a lot easier, however they do require a good web host like Dreamhost, a little skill with php, and sometimes CSS or MYSQL too. I use one of these scripts on my site Premade Layouts. I have added the script into my site so that it looks nearly the same - Layout Generator. The code could use some cleaning up, but hey i’m too lazy okay? I hate coding, I wish someone would do it for me. hee hee.

The best script i’ve seen so far is SMyS MySpace Script, it’s free, it’s clean, and I wish I would have seen it before I used the one i’m using.

Something else you might find awesome is www.phpizabi.net I was thinking of trying out this script when I have some time, it seems like something that would be a lot of fun.

Here is another script I haven’t tried  XHTML-MySpaceScript.rar it has been reccomended to me several times lately so I keep the link in mind.

If you are a MySpace user, you have learned what an easy to read and fun profile looks like. The only problem is, you may not know how to create or find out. Most of the time when you see an awful MySpace layout, it's because its sloppy, hard to read, or has annoying links you didn’t even see. That is because since MySpace has been growing so much, so have the layout sites. In fact, MySpace layout sites have been generating tons of revenue through advertising. This advertising can even be through hidden spam in your own profile.

Once you start seeing all the nice profiles on MySpace, you instantly hit Google and start searching away for a great free MySpace layout site. What you don't realize that the ones you are going to find the easiest will most likely have the most spam. As a website publisher myself, I understand why this spam is there, and what it accomplishes. But as a MySpace user, these hidden links can get annoying. So you have to know what you are looking for in a layout.

MySpace layout designers will put hidden backlinks to their site in all of their layouts. What this does for them is 2 things. 1. It creates free advertising for them and possible hits from all over the MySpace world. 2. These backlinks help their page rank in Google. The more links to their site, the more important their site looks to Google, therefore the higher up it will rank when MySpace layouts are searched for.

Now all hope is not lost when looking for a good layout. These backlinks that MySpace layout designers use is not all bad. In fact, it does help keep your favorite MySpace layout site in business. But knowing what you are looking for is important.

Try and stay away from the layouts that have lots of links and menu bar modifications. I have found that most of the back links will come from modifying the menu bars. The good MySpace layout sites you will find are the ones that let you "hack" your MySpace profile. This will let you edit one aspect at a time instead of just throwing a new layout on your profile all at once. This will also let you control any unwanted layout designs, and you will also become familiar with the coding.

(Duvy's note: It's also important to know that you can get your myspace and your PC hacked from layout sites and whore me's and sites that can access your hard drive. That is why I don't use rogue tactics on Darkspace. I actually host graphics that I made myself. I didn't steal anyone else's art to make my own. I have no code on my site that does anything to your PC and I don't put copyrights and links in the way of you getting a great layout. It looks like crap when you have copyrights and ugly links all over your profile and I hate it when people put them in my comments. It's all a scam to earn more from Google Adsense and Yahoo Ads. Not to mention those annoying sites that you have to click on eight pages to get one copy and paste code…what utter bullshit. That's why I don't use a database to store my website. It's straight HTML with no hidden fees or scams. That's why I urge people to donate. I do this for free, for you, the people who love my work and I am poor as hell, but I do my best. At least I can say I have never ruined anyones computer and most of the people leave my site happy and ask for more. I love getting comments, mail, and requests. :} )
